During the regular school year, the Upper Room hosts an after school program for children in the 1st and 2nd grades. Children arrive around four o'clock, receive dinner first, and then begin working on their homework. When they have finished their homework, they receive reading and math tutoring from both our staff and volunteers. If there is remaining time before their parents arrive, they have recreation with their classmates.
